Terms & Conditions for PhotoRefix

By using PhotoRefix, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Service Description

PhotoRefix provides an AI-powered tool to restore and enhance the clarity of blurry photos. We process images you upload and return improved versions. This is a paid service using a credit system.

2. User Accounts

Registration: You must create an account to use PhotoRefix.

Age Requirement: You must be 18 years or older to use our service and make purchases.

Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

3. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for the content you upload. You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have the right to use all photos you upload
  • Your uploaded content does not violate any laws or third-party rights
  • Your content does not infringe on copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
  • You will not upload illegal, harmful, or inappropriate content

We are not responsible for copyright violations or illegal content uploaded by users. You accept full liability for any content you upload.

4. Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain all ownership rights to photos you upload. We do not claim ownership of your content.

Processing License: By uploading photos, you grant us a temporary license to process them solely to provide our restoration service. This license terminates when photos are deleted (after 1 hour).

Our Service: PhotoRefix, including our AI technology, website, and branding, is our intellectual property.

5. Service Usage

Credits: Each photo restoration costs 1 credit. New users may receive free credits upon signup.

File Limits: Maximum file size is 2MB. Supported formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG, WEBP.

Processing Time: Photos are typically processed within 5-10 seconds.

Data Retention: Uploaded and processed photos are automatically deleted after 1 hour.

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not:

  • Use the service for any illegal purpose
  • Upload content you don't have rights to
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or copy our AI technology
  • Use automated scripts to abuse the service
  • Share account credentials with others

7. Payment and Refunds

Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.

Pricing: Credit pricing is displayed on our pricing page.

No Refunds: All credit purchases are final and non-refundable.

Credit Deduction: Credits are deducted only after successful photo processing.

8. Referral Program

Eligibility: Referral rewards are subject to verification. We reserve the right to withhold, revoke, or modify referral credits at our sole discretion.

Signup Bonus: Referrers receive 1 credit when their referred user signs up and verifies their email. Referred users may receive free signup credits based on eligibility.

Purchase Commission: Referrers earn 10% commission (in credits) on purchases made by their referred users, including subscriptions, renewals, and add-on purchases. This commission applies for 12 months from the date the referred user signed up. After 12 months, no further commission is earned on that user's purchases.

Abuse Prevention: To maintain the integrity of our referral program, we employ various measures to detect and prevent abuse. If we determine that a referral is fraudulent, manipulated, or otherwise violates the spirit of the program, no credits will be awarded to either party.

Credit Expiry: Referral credits (both signup bonus and purchase commissions) expire 6 months after being awarded.

Modifications: We may modify or discontinue the referral program at any time without prior notice.

9. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted or error-free service
  • Specific quality results for every photo
  • That the service will meet all your requirements

10. Limitation of Liability

PhotoRefix is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

  • Any damages resulting from your use of the service
  • Loss of data or photos
  • Copyright infringement claims related to content you upload
  • Inability to access the service
  • Quality of restoration results

11. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you:

  • Violate these terms
  • Upload illegal or inappropriate content
  • Abuse the service
  • Engage in fraudulent activity

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
